Our mission is for every patient to have a GREAT experience with us, so that each patient will WANT to tell their friends and family how they too can decrease their pain, improve their function and overall quality of life from our services.

Karla is the only internationally certified McKenzie therapist in the Eastern Panhandle and 1 of 12 in West Virginia.  The "McKenzie Method" is an approach to the spine based on sound principles and fundamentals that when fully understood and followed accordingly are very successful.  She is also a member of the Accelerated Functional Rehabilitation Network, which follows  the evaluation and treatment principles set forth by Gary Gray, PT.  Gary Gray is nationally known as the "Father of Function".  He has won several honors in the American Physical Therapy Association for his contributions to the field of Physical Therapy.

For those with peripheral neuropathy secondary  to Diabetes  or unknown reasons the Anodyne Therapy System is available at King Physical Therapy. Anodyne Therapy has been shown to decrease  pain, pins and needles, numbness, tingling and improve sensation in patients with peripheral neuropathy.  As the sensation improves other physical therapy techniques are implemented to improve balance and gait, and reduce the risk of falls.  Karla typically utilizes the Balance Better Program™ developed by Gary Gray, PT when the Anodyne Therapy System is initiated.
